Love...It is!
Four lettered word, it is
A small word, I must say
But it makes the world go round
In four letters, Love can’t be bound
It’s the sacred union that brings us to this world
It’s the tear of delight in a mother’s eye
As she sees our feathers unfurl
It’s her infinite well of compassion
It’s her blessings that she showers on us everyday
It’s the pillow of your father’s chest
It’s his determination to get you the best
It’s his patience as you progress slowly
His reassurance that, “You are the best!”
And the helping hand that protects you from perils
Or from going astray
It’s the unending bond of friendship
And standing by in storms
It’s the thrill of the first crush
And the magnetism that bring people together
To be together for a lifetime
It’s the national anthem that makes all rise in respect
It’s the Ram in Ramzan, Ali in Diwali
It’s the respect for everyone big and small
And lending out helping hand to those who need
Love teaches us how to live
It’s the faith that keeps us alive
It’s omnipresent and all powerful
